Amazon.com This is a reconditioned power tool. Reconditioned generally means that the tool has been returned to the manufacturer, who brings the tool back to like new condition. Some tools may contain cosmetic blemishes. This is brad nailer for the new millennium: a powerful driver in a feather-light body. The magnesium housing is a fantastic development from the Bostitch folks, who've known all along how to make a heck of a nailer. This one weighs in at a mere 2.1 pounds, letting you hoist and fire for hours without the strain and fatigue of the heavier models. The motor is whisper-quiet and oil-free, eliminating worries about oil-stained work pieces. Bostitch thought of everything with this one, even creating a magnetic magazine that hangs onto your fasteners for breezy loading. The adjustable depth control is quick and easy to use, without any fumbling. You can countersink in a flash, too. Don't let the weight of this tool fool you, it packs serious power. -- Kris Jensen-Van Heste

Goes bang when I pull the trigger June 14, 2010 Kirk Norman Great gun for < $40. I've only had a misfire or two after a good 6 months of use. Carries the Stanley/Bostitch warranty, and it's dirt cheap. No sense in complaining about a few minor issues when you make a conscious decision to go with the lower end, refurbished model. Bostitch makes a much more expensive 18 ga. nailer; if you want perfection, drop the coin on that. For my money... you can't beat this little guy. And who doesn't love "Bostitch Yellow" nail guns??
Great price, like new, fast shipping - No suprises! May 23, 2010 Gregory M. Williams (Illinois) I've wanted a 2-inch brad nailer ever since I first used my Porter-Cable 1 3/8-inch brad nailer on some trim - it just didn't have the reach to go through the trim, drywall, and then into a stud.
Then I found the Bostitch factory-reconditioned nailer for a GREAT price! It's exactly what I wanted. It even came with a new set of 2" brad nails!
No need to buy new!
Go with the Senco May 19, 2010 Robert P. Dba Services (cape cod) OK for the price, should of payed the extra $$ and gone with the Senco. This Bostitch miss fires to often, won't last the time the old Senco performed for me.
Factory Reconditioned Brad Nailer May 14, 2010 Rob (New Jersey) Whenever ordering a Bostitch Factory-Reconditioned product, you always take the Bostitch gamble as to what you are going to get. This time, I was lucky and received a working product in very good condition. My last "gamble" was on a finishing nailer that did not include its accessories, the paint was quite marred, and the screws were rusty.
Mine came with an opened (but appears relatively full) pack of 2" brads. After cleaning the nailer, I hooked it up to my compressor and fired 20 nails in fairly rapid succession. 1 in 20 caused a double shot. This particular model is much more annoying to unjam as you have to unscrew three hex screws to remove the front casing, whereas on my older finishing nailer, it has 2 easy to operate clips.
Each shot (with the exception of the double shot) was consistent in depth and the easy depth adjuster worked as well as I expected.
Overall, for the greatly reduced price, if you are willing to take the Bostitch gamble, it could pay off. Worst case, Amazon is generally very good an making things right. On my aforementioned finishing nailer, they gave me a 20% refund to cover the cost of the missing parts. I honestly would not pay the full price for this product new, but with the reconditioned pricing (and the gift certificate I used), its a great nailer for the price.
Factory-Reconditioned Bostitch U/BT200K-2 By Big "T" April 23, 2010 Terence A. Molloy (Indianapolis) I ordered through Amazon and it was shipped promptly by Bostitch. It's looks to be in like new condition and functions properly without any problems. I have used it on several small home projects and am completely satisfied with it's operation. I don't make my living with such tools so I can not comment on how it would hold up to constant use, but for a project guy like me it seems to be just fine and a good value. I recommend it and would buy it again myself if I had to do it over.
