Amazon.com Review This is a reconditioned power tool. Reconditioned generally means that the tool has been returned to the manufacturer, who brings the tool back to like new condition. Some tools may contain cosmetic blemishes. The first time you pick up the Bostitch N62FNK-2, you might wonder if such a lightweight finish nailer (it weighs just 3.8 pounds, the lightest in its class) can really get the job done. But once you pull the trigger and feel the 400 in./lbs. of driving power at your fingertips, those doubts will disappear and you'll wonder how you ever did without it before. Rugged and sturdy enough for virtually any application, the N62FNK-2 delivers fast, clean, accurate results using finish nails from 1 to 2-1/2 inches in length. An oil-free engine means no unsightly stains on your work--a definite plus--and no need for messy lubrication, an even bigger positive. Tool-free maintenance and depth control only add to the allure. -- Carl Thress

Watch out, this only accepts Bostich nails! September 3, 2010 D. LAVIOLETTE (Michigan) Be aware this nailer only accepts nail strips at a 25 degree angle! Most angled finish nailers use nail strips at a 15 degree angle. LOW and BEHOLD, Bostich is the only nails made like this!
As for the unit itself, I bought one of these reconditioned units and it seams just fine. I don't give it anywhere near a heavy workload though.
Also, I'm not sure about other nailers but this unit needs at least 110 pounds of pressure to drive the 2.5" nails below the surface. Good to know if your compressor doesn't go that high.
I berate this unit heavily for these two very important points not being mentioned in the description.
They Didn't Even Pretend To Recondition This Nailer July 8, 2010 Nolocontendere They sent me a heavily used, dirty tool. The box had dirt from the worksite on it. The trigger is loaded with dirt. They did not even try to patch up any of the dings, scratches and scuffs. This looks like it came out of a pawnshop, but worse because it is dirty. I did not even try it to see if it worked, it looked so bad. They did not even pretend to send a factory reconditioned nailer. I am embarrased for this company. Based on the reviews, I suspect this is an anomoly, and that someone who is not greatful to be employed severely cut corners. Only a couple others have had simlar experiences--at least people who have taken the time to post a review. I am sending it back.
I ordered one new from the same company for about $25 more. I received it today and I am pleased. Now I have to waste my time and gas to take the crappy one to UPS because someone did not take pride in their work.
The lesson here is to buy new if you buy from this company. I previously bought a reconditioned compresser and brad nailer from a different company (CPO Bostitch) and it truely was factory conditoned and was beautiful.

Best in Class December 24, 2009 W. Gooding (miami, florida, US) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The thought of using a hammer and nails to install window and door mouldings was untenable; then entered the UN62FNK. I have another nailer but this baby does the job with ease and precision.. It has become my favorite purchase, sorry router.

Light and easy to use - but definately reconditioned November 19, 2009 Kay Hayes (San Jose, CA USA) My use for this nail gun is home remodeling (my home only). In this arena, the nail gun performs well. It is very light - the housing is made of magnesium. The nails, even though they are not the most popular angle, can be had at the local big box store. It is easy to remove the magazine for clearing jams. .
It does not come with a compressor fitting - nor is one pictured - so be prepared to attach your own. I knocked off a star because my reconditioned model looked most certainly used, with plenty of scuffs in the paint.
