I Like Mine December 8, 2009 ZootCapri101 (GA) I purchased one of these as a replacement for an identical one I had for years. I just worn the thing out.
Great price, quick free delivery and the unit looked like new. Ran pretty well, but took it to a
local small engine mechanic and he adjusted the carb and this thing starts and run great. He
suggested using a fuel additive called Star Tron, seems the ethanol in gasoline is hard on the
these engines. Little bottle will last forever.
If you've never owned 2-cycle engines you really need to read and understand the starting procedures cause these things will really piss you off if you can't get them to run. They're
pretty temperamental, but once you figure them out, they'll run for years with very little maintenance.
I bought one of those red TORO electric blowers and its nice, but I despise breaking out the darn extension cord every time I mow the yard. more power to ya!
It Blows! And Not In A Good Way December 4, 2009 Kabol, Johnathan N. (Little Rock) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Bought this from Wal Mart for $70.00. Used it three times and the pull cord broke completely off. Replaced it for free and now have an extremely hard time starting the unit due to the pull cord once again. I hate this machine! I admit once it gets to blowing it's halfway decent, but it's not worth the struggle. Plus the blow power has decreased significantly despite following all user directions precisely.
Weed Eater after 3 years November 7, 2009 David Wilbur (Nashville, TN) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
For the first 2 years this equipment served me well for my 1+ acre yard. The 3rd year it will not start even using starter fluid. Had I been able to get four year out of this blower for a total cost of $60 or $15 per year, I would have been satisfied.
We live in a disposable world and until the time come when you want to buy Made in the USA and pay the price for quality, get over it. We are disposable and cheap.
Not bad...for the money July 8, 2009 B Safe (Harrisburg, PA) I bought this about six months ago and have used it a probably a dozen times or more. If you don't follow the directions closely it is hard to start. My wife still insists on using the electric Toro Blower because it seems to have more power, but for me the advantage of not having to drag out cords and constantly plugging and unplugging it as I move around the yard is worth the sacrifice. It's not commercial quality, but it is light and works well at blowing the grass and leaves off the sidewalk and driveway.
Best Blower!!! June 6, 2009 I am 11 and this is what I think. I just got a refurbished one of these and it works Great!. I would not recommend this to everyday users or people that handle large amounts of wet leaves. For the $ this is a lot of bang for you buck.
