Wow, what a waste of money.
This battery charger will NOT charge a battery pack. I've tried three different battery packs and....NOTHING.
Defective piece of junk, and past the return date (of course).
Take my advice: buy at a local hardware store. Amazon.com is an outlet for defective tools that manufacturers won't dare sell through reputable chains such as Home Depot and Lowe's.

tired of charging and recharging ni ch batteries so i upgraded and haven't looked back, would only by lithium batteries from here on out. works great, lots of power and doesn't lose charge.

Ok its a charger... it works.. it charges both the old and the new style batteries... It's not like we have a choice if you want to use the new batteries....

The only way to go with the Ryobi Batteries, forget their Blue Batterys, pay the extra money and get the Green ones!
