| Customer Reviews: Perfect for intended use April 3, 2010 Kipton Tewksbury (Marlboro, VT USA) I bought this as a gift for a friend who does alot of crafts work with cardboard and paper. She had been using a paper cutter and scissors previously. She told me that it does exactly the job she expected it to. Easier on her hands, cuts large pieces and she can easily cut out shapes.
She is very happy with it.
Barely cuts hot butter March 17, 2010 CC (St. Louis MO) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bought this to cut up cardboard boxes for the recycle bin. I have arthritis in my hands and wanted something to make the job less painful. It does an adequate job on smaller, less thick boxes, but the furniture cartons - very thick and large - were another story.
It won't go through thicker items at all and requires a lot of pressure from the user to get through anything thicker than say a typical Amazon cardboard carton. I expected the tool to do more of the work and to spin much faster than it does.
Ultimately, I think this tool is too expensive for the mediocre performance it delivers.
