 Bostitch Combo Kit November 16, 2008
Product recived in timley fashion but short advertised "Fastiners" upon calling Amazon rep their solution was "send every thing back" this is not a acceptiable way to handle this problem they should have been sent out by themself to correct the shortage. Others have also expressed the same thoughts if you don't include them remove this from the discription to be more truthful.
Improper Packing - arrived damaged November 13, 2008
I was disappointed to discover that the compressor had just been tossed into a large box with NO packing materials and the contractor bag thrown loose on top of it. It had clearly been bouncing around inside the oversized box and arrived with the top black handle/cover smashed in half. Amazon is resending another now - I wonder if this one will have any packing material...can't comment on unit operations - very disappointing.
 Better than anticipated November 8, 2008
I had been looking for a smaller compressor / nailer combo at a reasonable price. This seemed to fit the bill, but I was a little hesitant about it being reconditioned. Unit arrived in only 3 days using super saver free shipping. It was reasoably packaged and their was no apparent shipping damage. The compressor had one or two minor blemish spots in the finish but appeared to be minimally used if at all. Nail guns appear to be be brand new and unused. Came with fastners for all three nailers, new air hose, oil, tote bag and also accessory kit with coil hose, blow off air nozzle with several tips inflation needle,assorted quick connect fittings, thread tape..WOW !!!
Plugged in and ran the compressor. It functioned correctly, no leaks noted, achieved indicated 135 psi before auto shut off. Have not had an chance to try the nail guns yet.
So far everything exceeded my expectations. From the shipping time, to the condition and inclusiveness of the kit. I feel this combo kit is a great bargain at ~$100 less than new.

The unit was shipped promptly and arrived in perfect condition.
Even though the unit is "Factory-Reconditioned", it could not be distinguished from new.
The compressor and nail guns work very well.
I would say this is an excellent value.
Missing Hose November 2, 2008
In the end, this kit was everything I had hoped, however it was shipped without the airhose. Amazon shipped an entire new kit 3 days later to get a new hose to me. However due to the delay, I wound up having to buy an air hose locally to get started on my job, hence increasing my net cost.
Lesson learned: Don't wait until the last minute to order!
