I received the trimmer attachment in a new condition. It is a refurbished unit but I couldn't tell. It snapped right onto my Riobi and had all the power of a High Dollar didicated machine. I'm glad I didn't spend the $350 for the Brand I was going to purchase.

This edger is horrible I would take a manual hand edger over this tool any day. It never worked correctly with my Ryobi tool and I gave it many chances. It always clogs and the blade gets easily bogged down. Spend your money on a tool that will get the job done right. I have many attachments for my Ryobi edger and this one is the worst.

It is impossible to rate this item as it requires attachment to the Ryobi 4 cycle weed wacker that was purchased in conjuntion. That has been in the shop for the last 2 weeks. It worked for 10 minutes and would not restart. Not what you need during summer growing season.
