I need some more time to learn how to use it. I think it does the job it is supposed to do. However, a wider planer would be more beneficial.

I am an amateur woodworker so i don't know if i am qualified to rate this tool, but i find that the Factory reconditioned Ryobi 3 1/4" hand planer to be great, still learning to use it properly, however the condition was like new and so far it works smooth, lots of power. No complaints here laterz folks.
