ok but January 31, 2010 SFV (CT) Won't stay on our smooth concrete walls. A bit tricky to learn how to use, especially when trying to hang something in a small area like between a window and a corner. Good idea, tho. Just needs to be better quality.
Not what it seems January 6, 2009 M. Lott (Semmes, AL. USA) 1 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this item and it shipped from a seperate source. It arrived with a damaged box. I opened it and it was missing parts and batteries. Didn't come with a reconditioned warrenty card like it was supposed to. I contacted seller, never heard from them. I had to go to Amazon and they made it right.***Overall, the actual laser is great for small projects like hanging pictures and running a fence line in small sections. Not for big jobs!
Works like a charm April 4, 2007 Ed 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I just got this gadget from a home improvement store today. I used it for adjusting my fog lights. It stuck to a smooth cement wall with no problems. Next project, a multishelf unit for my DVD collection.
Comes with 2 AA batteries a case with 2 push pins and multi surface wall adapter.
Great for the price March 7, 2007 L. Turner (San Diego, CA United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Easy to use and sticks to walls like a champ. I've used it for hanging pictures, and a few other DIY projects.
Pretty doggone slick November 23, 2006 Plainsman (Kansas Hill Country) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Unlike the other "rater", my Ryobi level worked great right out of the box and it's still working great. I've had mine for about a year. I don't use it every day, but on those occasions (as a home DIY user) when I do get it out, it works very well. For the money, it's the best laser level of its type that I've found and I tried several of them.
I've used it on wood, sheetrock, concrete walls, tile, and vinyl siding and all I've ever needed is the battery operated vacuum to get it to "stick" to the surface. It levels easily, adjusts easily, and it comes in a very nice little carrying case with room for some extra items like markers and pencils.
Try it. I betcha like it.
