Worth It's Weight in Gold April 21, 2010 Steven R. Akers (SC) Just completed a future room that was framed in. I used this little work horse a lot and it never missed a beat. I have a Ridgid 16 ga. nailer and this little dude went toe to toe with it. I had to face nail 3/4" maple flooring into 3/4" OSB and went to the Bostitch on the final row because it allows you to nail closer to the wall than my other gun. It had no problems sinking the 2" brads I used. I installed window and door trim with it as well. No jams, misfires, etc.
I did use Bostitch brads and would recommend that you only use them. Both guns performed perfectly and I say this little nailer is worth 10 times what I paid for it. Very small holes to putty, no hammer tracks, I just can't say enough. One of the best purchases I have made.

Nail, Jam, Dry fire, Nail, Dry fire, Jam.... March 29, 2010 James G. Wheeler (Maryland) The tool is very light and comfortable to handle, but I was hoping for better performance. 50% of the time it dry fires (the pin actuates, and makes a dent in your work, but doesn't feed a brad). Then it jams about 5% of the time, which requires using the attached allen wrench, loosening the top of the (plastic!) nailer head, clearing the jammed brad, and trying again. I'm shooting 2" brads (Bostitch brand). This is a "reconditioned" model - i.e. somebody returned it previously. I think I know why.
Great nailer for the price ! March 28, 2010 George Sanders I bought this nailer based on previous reviews and ratings . I give it a 5 star rating for the price and an overall rating of 4 . I have used the nailer on pine board and trim /everyday use . The only problem that I have had were a few double feeds of the brads causing a jam . Easy to clear . I have used 1-9/16 and 2 inch brads so far and seem to shoot we'll and hold very good . Recently bought more brads at Lowe's and there was a good selection and were cheap . Very light weight gun and I would recommend a light weight Hose to move it around easier . which is next on my list to purchase . Very happy with my purchase .....
Great Nailer and Great Price! March 22, 2010 OUFAN75 (Tulsa, OK) I am in the process of installing wood floors in my home and since I was going to be taking up the trim I needed a nail gun to make the installation of the trim go faster. When I received the box from Tool King I thought the case was empty because it was so light! This gun is the magnesium line and it is very light and durable. The plastic case it comes in weighs more. I wanted to test it out since I would not be ready for trim for a couple of weeks, so I fixed a kitchen drawer and a couple of window ledges with it. Plus I have heard good things about the Bostitch product line from friends. I highly recommend...can't beat the price!
